In Williamsburg, my site, people used to live in the typical brownstone houses. However, Williamsburg gradually grows with Manhattan. People from the city start to move to this area. After the gentrification, the original citizens were forced to move to the rural area. Modern skyscrapers and apartments are becoming more and more common.

The Museum of lost neighborhoods is the place that documents their stories and memories. The facade is inspired by the brownstone house facades. It’s a replica of the demolished local brownstone housings.
